YES! Golf had an outstanding week on the European
Tour and the LPGA, recording four top 10s and finishing second in the
putter count on both tours. At the European Tour’s MAPFRE Andalucia Open in Spain, YES! had 21 players using the C-Groove putter, including the runner-up and three others in the top 10. YES! Golf has been a consistent No. 2 each week in the putter count on the European Tour. On the LPGA Tour, YES! picked up right where it left off after an off-week in the tour’s schedule. At the Safeway International, YES! was No. 2 in the putter count with 27 players using C-Groove putterS including the runner-up, staff professionals Christina Kim who finished T-6th and Laura Davies T-9th along with another player in the top 10. The GrooveTube™ putter incorporates a 3D visual alignment technology to guarantee perfect address and set-up over every putt. Retailers are very excited about the GrooveTube, which is scheduled to ship in early May. “We are off to a great start on all the tours,” said Francis Ricci, president and CEO, YES! Golf. “We have several new players using the putter and have welcomed back a few players who have found enormous success with the C-Groove putter in the past. Each week, more and more players are carrying one of our putters in their bag. On the other tours, the winner and runner-up of the China Omega Tour Dell Championship used relied on YES! technology. On the Gateway Tour Phoenix, YES! also recorded a win and a second-place finish. At the Champions Tour’s Ginn Championship at Hammock Beach, Mark Wiebe used the Natalie putter and finished T-13th and was second in putts per round. YES! C-Groove putters continue to gain popularity on the professional tours and in the golf shops. YES! putters are currently used by over 200 tour professionals worldwide and recorded 28 wins in 2007. YES! Golf currently has 24 models of C-Groove putters. |
