Yes! Golf enjoys a great weekend in European Golf
Wednesday, 10 June 2009
An absolutely outstanding weekend was recorded for Tour golfers using Yes! Putters, especially on the Ladies European Tour.

Yes! Golf EU tour rep and putting coach Bart van der Wind reported from a windswept, rainy ABN AMRO Ladies Open in Eindhoven that 10 of the top 20 finishers were using Yes! Putters – including the winner, Tania Elosegui of Spain.

In a satisfyingly tense finish too, the victory came for the 27 year-old Spaniard (after five 2nd place finishes) as a result of a four metre birdie putt on the final hole with her Callie Putter. It’s the second Ladies European Tour win in a row for Yes! Golf Europe, coming just a fortnight after Jade Schaeffer won the HypoVereinsbank German Ladies Open in Munich with her Tracy II Putter.

With the weather proving a disappointment at The Celtic Manor last weekend, some of the European Tour’s Yes! men nonetheless grabbed a bit of sunshine for themselves. Most notably perhaps was Oliver Fisher whose trusty Tracy putter helped him to 5 under for the tournament, a tied 6th position and a purse of just under €60,000. Being only 4 shots adrift of the winner it’s an indication of how tough this competition is historically speaking; the largest winning margin was only 5 shots in 2002.

In Klagenfurt, meanwhile, Austrian fans were treated to a fine display by Challenge Tour Yes! men Carlos Rodiles (Donna Putter) and Edoardo Molinari (Dawn Putter). Rodiles led the field by one stroke going into the final round.

Molinari’s 3rd round 66 was the lowest score of the day and his joint 4th position at the end alongside tournament host Markus Brier has pushed the Italian to number one position in the Challenge Tour rankings. He even managed a flourish via an eagle and four birdies over the last 7 holes of the Klagenfurt-Selgenheim Golf Club.

Young Tiger Woods-like boy to set junior record with 20 consecutive putts on the rail designed from Harold Swash.

The golf club was too long for him, he was using a 32" Yes! Carolyne. As the Custom Fitting Program from the Harold Swash Putting School of Excellence is quite unique, we sorted him with a special solution.

Working with the Harold Swash-method gives a Teaching Professional a great tool to increase his credibility within the Golf Teaching Community through acquiring detailed knowledge which is TOUR PROVEN. But not only that, it gives a Teaching Pro an additional revenue source through specialising in a part of the game which is generally overlooked and poorly taught.
