Swash Putting School pupils Oliver Wilson & Henrik Stenson to play a key role at the Ryder Cup

Oliver Wilson (World Nr. 48) and Henrik Stenson (World Nr. 7), both pupils of the Harold Swash Putting School of Excellence, play a key game at the Ryder Cup in Louisville, Kentucky against Phil Mickelson and Anthony Kim.

During the saturday morning Foursomes, Henrik Stenson and Oliver Wilson had a tough start to go 4 down at the 6th hole.

Kim and Mickelson had a great start with Birdies. Things started to change after the 7th hole when the american team started to play wobbly off the tee and missing fairways and greens.

A monster 25 foot and 20" breaking putt holed by Oliver Wilson on the 17th green gave the Europeans unexpected victory over the starduett Mickelson/Kim.

Wilson: " "We felt like they're not going to keep up that kind of play," said Wilson, the Ryder Cup rookie from Mansfield, England. "It's almost impossible to keep making that amount of birdies out there. ... If we can keep the pressure on every hole, as the holes go down, it gets tougher for them. ... We had nothing to lose when we were 4 down."

About the winning putt: "I felt like I've been waiting to hole that putt all year. It was nice to hole out especially against Anthony and Phil."

Stenson: "After winning 7 and 8 we kept hanging in there and after 12 we had a 50/50 chance and kept going after it."
