Spanish National Team Member Pedro Erice thankful for the insights
Wednesday, 04 March 2009
Pedro Erice Ibañez, member of the Spanish National Boys Squad, Handicap +2,5, has sent us a thank-you email after the training HSPSE Director of Instruction Phil Kenyon, Level 2 Michel Monnard and Level 1 Juan Garcia Estrada have done with the Spanish National Team between Christmas and New Year 2008.

"Dear Michel,

I wanted to pass on my gratitude for the corrections you gave me to work on and especially for the training excercises, which you showed us on the last day. I have changed what you suggested, worked with the Gate-Excercise to control the line with the pace.

The result was incredible at the first of the counting tournaments of the Spanish Golf Federation. I had an average of 27.75 putts per round over the 4 days of the competition to win the tournament in the playoff over my good friend Pedro Oriol, which you might remember, is a member of the Equipo Nacional as well.

Thank you again and please pass on my gratitude and congratulations to Phil and Harold as well."

"Since the session Kieran would state that his putting now has sense of purpose over every putt which has filled him with confidence and ultimately lower scores. In my opinion from the perspective of a parent of a son who wishes to be a professional I think this should be a must have lesson from the time the player shows any potential."
