HSPSE has presented its Accredited Instructors Scheme to close to 80 PGA Golf Professionals from the Leading Edge Buying Group in Australia. Leading Edge is the leading buying group of golf articles in Australia.
The third day in Australia was going to be an important day for us. We have been offered the chance to speak in front of close to 80 PGA Professionals which came for 3 days seminare to the Palm Meadows Golf Club. After setting everything up early in the morning, E-Z-Go Golf Carts where first to hold a talk. The speaker was Mats the Swed. He came across very professional, speaking about insurance issues and organisational needs to run a golf cart fleet without trouble. In 2 hours, Harold introduced the way how the Yes Putter has been created, how his teaching programme started and what the keypoints where. These informations are key to understand why the Harold Swash Putting Schools have come to the status they have today. Harold's father was a pool player and as Harold took him once to the golf course and to the Putting Green, his dad holed 19 consecutive putts on 14 foot. He obviously asked him, how would he be able to do that. He just said: "Son, you must put - running top - on it. That way it will stay on line. So Harold has been coming up with different options, one of them got introduced into his Putter and became the now very popular Yes Putter. The second part was for Phil Kenyon. He introduced the Accredited Instructor Scheme and the instruction course which we will do on the coming monday and tuesday.
The end was beeing offered on the Putting Green outside, where Michel Monnard and Wayne Farrell provided the PGA Professionals with Ball roll caption and the helped them with their own technique to improve ball roll and correct those pros which where struggling with their putt. A successfull 2 hours session was finished as the rain set in. The region around Brisbane had gone through a severe drought in the last week, so we the rain was more than welcome. |

As
for the practical side, we offered 2 professionals to step up and
beeing assessed by Harold and videoed by Phil. Their comments on their
setups and there putting movements did open some eyes in the room.
