Meeting of HSPSE School Directors Michel Monnard (Mallorca) and Marcos Ganadarias (Madrid)
Sunday, 13 July 2008
HSPSE School Directors Michel Monnard from Mallorca and Marcos Ganadrias from Madrid have met at Son Gual Golf (www.son-gual.com) for exchange of Experience in the set-up of a Harold Swash Putting School.

Marcos arrived on a hot july midday but was happy to play a few holes and get to know the Son Gual Golf Club in Majorca.

We first had lunch to speak about the plans for the build up of the Harold Swash Putting School in Madrid and possibilities of cooperation, business partners and organisation.

A vital piece of the build up of a new golf school is marketing and cooperations. Madrid is huge and the golfing in the city area is big, so potential is there. The set-up of a Harold Swash Putting School is on one side the aquisition of all materials, teaching aids, video cameras etc.

On the other side, the Teaching Professionals have to use their acquired skills on a day-to-day base to become more skilled and to improve their capabilities to work on a higher level in Putting Instruction.

The Marketing set-up asks for a finished product to be presented to the golf industry, to the golfers and the golf clubs in the area.

HSPSE Madrid counts with Juan Francisco García-Estrada as Golf Teaching Professional. Many years of teaching give him a wide base of experience.

"As a PGA professional for 25 years and a former player on the challenge tour, I always find it interesting to listen to the best coaches in golf and hear what they have to say. As well as maybe shaving a couple of shots off my own scores, I use several of Harolds ideas incorperated in what I would call 'my teaching package'. I guess i'll have to settle for being second best putter but I'll keep working at it!!"
