YES! Golf Scores Big Time On European And LPGA Tours
Tuesday, 01 April 2008
YES! Golf had an outstanding week on the European Tour and the LPGA, recording four top 10s and finishing second in the putter count on both tours.

At the European Tour’s MAPFRE Andalucia Open in Spain, YES! had 21 players using the C-Groove putter, including the runner-up and three others in the top 10. YES! Golf has been a consistent No. 2 each week in the putter count on the European Tour.

On the LPGA Tour, YES! picked up right where it left off after an off-week in the tour’s schedule. At the Safeway International, YES! was No. 2 in the putter count with 27 players using C-Groove putterS including the runner-up, staff professionals Christina Kim who finished T-6th and Laura Davies T-9th along with another player in the top 10. The GrooveTube™ putter incorporates a 3D visual alignment technology to guarantee perfect address and set-up over every putt. Retailers are very excited about the GrooveTube, which is scheduled to ship in early May.

“We are off to a great start on all the tours,” said Francis Ricci, president and CEO, YES! Golf. “We have several new players using the putter and have welcomed back a few players who have found enormous success with the C-Groove putter in the past. Each week, more and more players are carrying one of our putters in their bag.

On the other tours, the winner and runner-up of the China Omega Tour Dell Championship used relied on YES! technology. On the Gateway Tour Phoenix, YES! also recorded a win and a second-place finish. At the Champions Tour’s Ginn Championship at Hammock Beach, Mark Wiebe used the Natalie putter and finished T-13th and was second in putts per round.

YES! C-Groove putters continue to gain popularity on the professional tours and in the golf shops. YES! putters are currently used by over 200 tour professionals worldwide and recorded 28 wins in 2007. YES! Golf currently has 24 models of C-Groove putters.

Yes! and Swash Teaching Staff Helps deliver a REAL cliffhanger at the MAPFRE Andalucia Open 2008
Monday, 31 March 2008

If Yes! Putter technology gives you courage, 19-year old Englishman Oliver Fisher showed terrific guts in a nail-biting playoff against Frenchman Thomas Levet at the Andalucia Open  in Marbella this weekend. (At lunchtime on the fourth day there were three Yes! Putters in play among the leading five players – Michael Jonzon and David Lynn also carried C-Groove sticks).

Heartbreak comes in many forms, but at just 19, Mr Fisher has the brightest of futures ahead of him and a 2nd place cheque of €111,110 to help soften the blow.

It was hard to fault Fisher’s form on the greens. The C-Grooves on his Tracy putter gave him tremendous confidence to hole some very tricky putts on greens that were reportedly quite inconsistent in terms of speed, grass length etc. Notably, he drilled an exceptional shot on the 18th in the 3rd round; easily a 25-foot putt up over the ridge to plop into the cup without even touching the sides - all for 67 to finish at 11 under, going into the 4th day.

Fisher has been carrying the Yes! Putter since the start of the 2008 season, when he visited the Harold Swash Putting School at Yes! Golf in Southport to look at improving an area of his game he considered a weakness in 2007.

After struggling on the greens somewhat in Korea recently, and eager for continuity in his work he requested the help of putting coach Phil Kenyon for an intensive day’s coaching on the Monday prior to the Andalucia Open.

Such commitment proved vital, as at Aloha he averaged 28 putts per round– 3 lower than his average during last season.

Ollie was always going to do well this weekend,” says Phil Kenyon. “His growing confidence with his putting alongside a fantastic long game meant he was inevitably going to be among the top players.”

An astounded Richard Boxall reported from his commentary position that Fisher’s tee shot on the par 5 16th during the final round stopped rolling at 333 yards! Only four players in the Round 4 stats table have a longer average drive than his (av 310 yds).

Michael Jonzon – who finished tied 6th – only took up his Yes! Dianna Putter after landing in Marbella, which says a lot for the psychological edge that can be had from knowing your putter causes topspin ball roll sooner than anything else on the market, says Kenyon.

Yes! Golf announces The Donna hybrid putter
Thursday, 21 February 2008
Somewhere in the Yes! Golf organization is a person whose sole function is to gaze across the Yes! Putter range and look for chinks of daylight in what otherwise seems a totally comprehensive choice of putter types. When a gap appears, it has to be filled. If the ‘spotter’ fails to see a gap, it’s often a passing comment from a Tour pro who gives the opinion that such-and-such a putter would be perfect, if only it had…

“Phil and Michel, I cannot thank you guys enough for exposing us to such a great system and experience. I did not expect to get so much out of this past week until I really sat down and thought about it today on my day off,........ I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and starting an ongoing relationship with the Harold Swash team. It was great to meet so many different golf coaches and listen to many new ideas that we can all benefit from.  So thanks to all the coaches for sharing information so we can all grow as golf instructors.”
